Sidewiki – What do you think?

Many people I have spoken to have not even heard about the new Google SideWiki. I have been reading about it from Google’s site and have started seeing some of the posts people are leaving on major sites. There are a lot of opinions on whether this is good or bad. Like it or hate it, its something to watch. I have installed the new feature on my computer to keep up with sites I manage and market. The Internet along with social media continues to change and evolve…faster and faster. What’s Next? What are your thoughts?

Number 1 for Deer Dog Tags

How many emails a day do you get claiming someone will get you on page 1 of google? They never tell you what phrase they can obtain the top placement. Its easy for many phrases. Some are very hard and will take a lot of time and work. If you have your site set-up right to be search engine friendly, you may grab something that you were not really targeting.

Carol Flammer posted an article on using tags back in January.
I am not sure who is searching for them…. but our company website, mRELEVANCE currently has the number 1 results on Google for “Deer Dog Tags”

Social Media – Time to Learn!

Been updating and posting and liking and tweeting and following and becoming a fan. What does all this mean? Many of our clients know already…or they are finding out pretty quickly. There is power in Social Media, especially when its done right.

Whether you are trying to gain exposure or just trying to increase the positive results that Google has for you. investing time in social media will pay off. Not sure what to do? Everyone talks about the hits their website gets. I just ran across this quick illustration of page hits, visitors and page views. I have used this guide in the past to show that getting hits may not a clear picture of what is happening with your website. Take a look and let me know what you think.
